Member Benefits

You have access to all COSPRA members through the email list COSPRA maintains. It is a great place to ask questions, solicit advice, compare situations and get support for all your school communication needs.

Members have access to other members and the ability to share resources via the COSPRA Listserv and the COSPRA Facebook group. Ask your colleagues for sample parent/staff letters, communications plans, and advice on how to handle challenges that other schools and districts face. In addition, members have access to hot topics webinars, office hours with other COSPRA members and the COSPRA Executive Committee, as well as the new COSPRA Chatterbox podcast. 

COSPRA offers member activities each year for networking and to gain valuable professional development training and skills. Attend our annual COSPRA conference where professionals from around the state gather to hear from national and local speakers on best practices in school PR, social media, video production and more! COSPRA also offers a variety of virtual professional development and networking opportunities throughout the year. 

COSPRA members receive discounts on conference registration fees.

Only COSPRA members are invited to participate in our annual awards program. This is a chance to showcase the best of your school district or organization. Cost effective and easy to enter, the program then features winners at the Annual Conference and highlights them on our website. Award winners have the option of being recognized by the COSPRA board at their own School Board meetings and given a certificate or plaque, depending on award level.

Professional development scholarships
COSPRA offers scholarships for members to attend the annual national conference through our parent organization, the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA). These scholarships are announced via the listserv and awarded at the Annual Conference. 

Scholarships are available each year for members who are interested in earning their Accreditation in Public Relations (APR). Scholarships are announced each spring in conjunction with the awards program, via the listserv.
